Round 2 - What We Are Learning
Ok, full honesty this second round of Whole 30 is hard. Like really really hard. Our cravings the first week were off the charts, we walk down the grocery aisle and talk about all the foods we wish we could have but we have made it to day 18. We are proud of that.
We are now feeling the upside of why we do this, yes it took 18 days and we know why. We really needed to reset our bodies and we also got sick like the rest of the world seems to have been this winter. Now that we are over those hurdles we are understanding what we need to do to make sure these last weeks are going to be strong.
Planning. All we can say is planning is so important and we have majorly failed at that so far. It has made this Whole 30 extra hard. We come home from work and can't imagine cooking a whole meal and trying to think about the ingredients we can have. Our first Whole 30 we were much better with the prepping and it made a huge difference. So going forward for the last 12 days we are going to make small changes to help us make it through and PREPPING is the number one.
