3rd Trimester - Homestretch, thank goodness

Now I am going to be completely honest about my feelings of the 3rd trimester…it is really uncomfortable. I am so ready for him to be out, I am so ready to not feel like I may tip over but I know he will be here in no time.

The fact that 3rd trimester means I am towards the end gives me motivation, and now that we can see the end in sight, all we can do is wait.

What have I been eating…watermelon, watermelon and more watermelon.

3rd trimester eats:

Watermelon - as the East Coast heats up watermelon has never tasted so good. I really cannot go a week without it. You can freeze it and make a “slushie”, or just do what I do and cut the whole thing, refrigerate and eat with a little lime juice on top.

Eggs - Eggs are the easiest thing to eat in the morning for me and to fill me up without making me feel uncomfortable. An easy scramble with avocado, salsa and fruit on the side…its a perfect way to start the day.

Cucumbers - the cucumber desire continues like watermelon. This I have been eating with hummus, pita, carrots and (major pregnancy craving) pickles.

We cannot wait to introduce our little dude to you all, just a few weeks away and we will have a tiny sous chef! I will keep adding what I have been eating when my pregnancy brain is not full force! Keep on going quarantine moms!
