Early Mornings

When I tell people about my morning schedule they usually think I am crazy. Mornings are when I can get things done, I feel like my brain is the most creative right when I get up. People ask me, "what do I do during those early hours?" I thought I would share my usual routine...if anyone is interested. I can tell you now it really isn't too exciting, but people asked so I'll share :)

3:30am-4:00am Start Time: Yes, those times are when I wake up. Most people say this is still the middle of the night but my mornings seem to fly by. I make my coffee or tea, drink a large glass of iced water, gym/workout (lately I have been doing it after work so I have more time in the morning) and then I work on projects. I sneak out of the room so Tyler can continue to sleep like a normal person. I try to have my coffee already ground, my outfit ready for the day (usually I change my mind though) and be as quite as I can. I am sure Tyler would tell you otherwise.

4:30am Breakfast: Once I have found what I am going to wear I usually start my breakfast. I like it to be quick so I can get to other things. My typical breakfast is veggie scramble, half grapefruit and water.

5:00am Projects/Hazel/Timber/Sasquatch: During my last hour and half I like to work on (this blog, which is what I am doing now 6:00am), feed Hazel (dog), Timber (cat) and Sassy (cat). Once all furry ones are fed they usually go right back to sleep while I work :)

6:30am Out the Door: I am out the door by 6:30am, I like to be at work early to get things done before the rush and craziness begins at 9:00am.

I know, not too exciting but I love the mornings. It is my favorite part of the day, which I know most people hate but those quite 3 or so hours I have...heaven!
