Food Prep
Getting Ready
We did Whole 30 right before we got married, it was hard, we learned a lot and we continue to eat a lot of the whole 30 meals. If this is your first time trying Whole 30, your millionth time or (like we do) just eat a lot of WHOLE 30 meals, prepping is your best friend. We want to tell you the truth that you will have to put aside sometime on the weekends to do this. It can be fun if your doing it with someone or a way to relax by yourself. Turn some music on, get your recipe ready and cook away!
Pick your food prep day
Tyler and I dedicate Sunday's to being our food prep day. It is kind of like our "date day", we stay in sweats all day and cook away. It can be really fun! We even enjoy doing it when the other is out of town or away, it is a nice relaxing time.Yes, there are weekends when all we want to do is lay on the couch and do nothing. On those days we usually keep the first two or three days of meals really simple or just put something in the crockpot.
A few of our favorite pantry ITEMS
We still try lots of different Whole 30 compliant brands, but these are some of our favorites. Oh, and coconut aminos! If you have not tried this, you must! I love to just put it on veggies or cauliflower rice, it makes the perfect stir fry flavor!
